♦ understand the concept and benefits of performance monitoring, preventative maintenance, print and output management and energy conservation including reduced downtime, improved life expectancy, control of resources and improved safety conditions and quality.
♦ be aware of the importance of energy conservation including optimising energy usage, reduction of carbon footprint, resource usage optimisation, legislation compliance and ICT investment optimisation.
